To be successful in this role we believe you have

University degree education within electrical and/or mechanics or equivalent

Experience from the automotive business a merit

Experience of working with exhaust emissions / test equipment / calibration /MaintMaster an advantage

Fluent in both written and spoken English and Swedish

We want you to be a part of a team, responsible for service, calibration, maintenance of the equipment in the test cells and purchasing of instruments and spare parts.

Our main focus areas are to secure test facility uptime and efficient work planning by coordinating daily and ongoing work within test cells. We also focus on test cells and equipment quality to secure and improve an efficient testing and productivity, fault management and follow up, work operatively and direct report to manager.

But we have more on our plate then this!

One of our main focuses is to plan and prepare calibration and project towards customer and projects both internally and externally, as we have suppliers from different companies within emission, legislation and electricity.

As Test Equipment Engineer you will

So, what is your part in our daily work? Well, we want to give you the opportunity to be the responsible first line of support for technicians and test operators, daily activities and secure planned service and maintenance of test cells and associated equipment to meet certification, legislation and preventative maintenance plans.

You will also get to work with method development of existing service and maintenance routines.

So if you love the feeling of contributing to the group’s development, look no further. You will work with development of cost-reduction initiatives and improve maintenance and quality of operations. And also Develop and Ensure efficient use of equipment, services, features and legislation implementation.

More activities in your daily work

Secure test facility uptime and efficient work planning by coordinating daily and ongoing work within test cells

Fault management as problem solving, follow up, prioritize, inform, action plan and documentation

Focus on test cells and equipment quality to secure and improve an efficient testing

Work with Engine Testing Development Group and the emission team for next generation test equipment to meet project and legislation requirements including specific calibration method

Test cell efficiency – statistics and KPI – generate and follow up

Test and approve new equipment before handing off to testing in Test cell

Run the reference engine with the emission team both measurement quality as release the test cell
