  • customer’s product quality experience through ensuring safe and compliant
  • products.
  • You are service-minded, and possess the ability to take decisions and

actions with a sense of urgency having the customer in focus.

  • Desire to develop and improve by continuously challenging our way of

doing things.

  • You see the strength and advantage of working together and the need of

building and maintaining trustful networks, internal as well as external.

  • Previous experience from working with projects and/or process
  • improvements, and the execution, implementation and follow up of such
  • activities.

  • requirements & compliance (PR&C), quality and recovery processes. The focus
  • is on offering safe, compliant and affordable products in all markets that fulfil
  • the quality expectations of our customers. The ambition is to work proactively
  • in order to increase trust in IKEA and drive growth and profitability.
  • We are now looking for a Product Compliance Leader to take responsibility for
  • our Home furnishing range, with the main task to ensure that we offer safe
  • and compliant home furnishing products for sale in all of our markets, and that
  • we work pro-actively across IKEA Group to prevent, detect and correct product
  • safety and compliance deviations. The Product Compliance Leader will report
  • to the Product Quality Manager of IKEA Group.
  • Together with the country PR&C matrix and in close collaboration with IKEA of
  • Sweden and other key stakeholders, you will work with ensuring that all IKEA
  • products that are produced, distributed, presented and sold are safe to use for
  • our customers and compliant with international and national legislation and
  • standards, as well as IKEA policies and requirements. Considering the scope of
  • the IKEA Group this also means that you will have the responsibility to ensure
  • that we execute and follow-up on the product requirements that apply across
  • our operations and to the life-cycle of our products. In this role you will also be
  • responsible for ensuring that we work pro-actively across IKEA Group to
  • prevent, detect and correct product safety and compliance
  • deviations/incidents, and that we take timely corrective actions to address
  • these.
  • About the assignment
  • Your responsibility will be to establish efficient and effective operating
  • procedures and working methods for PR&C, and to lead and develop the PR&C
  • resources and competence across IKEA group. You will be responsible for both
  • supporting and challenging the PR&C matrix and other stakeholders/functions
  • on product safety and compliance related topics, and you possess the ability
  • and enthusiasm needed to do so. Your assignment will also include, but not be

limited to

  • Through a value based leadership, lead the development of the PR&C
  • framework and our people, within your range area;
  • o By developing and implementing common working methods, processes
  • and tools.
  • o By developing the PR&C matrix, with the aim to enable engagement,
  • knowledge sharing and competence development.
  • Lead implementation of improvement activities and ways of working with
  • ?
  • PR&C across IKEA Group.
  • Follow-up on our performance within PR&C, constantly striving to identify

how we could improve our ways of working.

  • Drive & facilitate risk assessments, ensuring we continuously have a good

overview of all PR&C related risks across IKEA Group.

  • Facilitate cross functional co-operation in order to ensure everyone
  • understands and actively contributes to ensuring the end to end compliance
  • and safety of the IKEA product range throughout our operations. IKEA Group is responsible for global support and business
  • development of the IKEA Retail organisation. It is our responsibility to
  • lead the development of all channels and media, to support the
  • development in our retail markets as well as to lead the positioning of
  • total IKEA. These directions aligned to each other will contribute to
  • fulfil our main objectives, to be the leader of life at home, gain long
  • term profitability and growth.
