Industrial Cleaner

Job Summary

Control or operate machinery or equipment to assist with manufacturing, packaging, and other steps along a production line. May be expected to handle heavy machinery. As an Industrial Cleaner you will be helping to maintain the cleaning in our plant which is key to accomplish our goals! This position is located in Hazlet, NJ and you will be covering second shift (2:00pm-10:30pm) . You will need to be okay by working lots of time walking and standing in your feeth.

Where You’ll Make a Difference

• Machine Operation: set up, operate, and shut down manufacturing machinery, including extruders or computer-controlled tools.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
• Maintenance and Cleaning: Perform routine preventative maintenance, troubleshoot malfunctions, and keep the work area clean.
• Monitoring & Efficiency: monitor production processes to optimize performance, reduce waste, and minimize downtime.
• Reporting & Documentation: record data regarding materials used and products produced, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Safety Compliance: adhere to all safety protocols and health regulations to prevent hazards.

• Ability to read shop floor papers and operate machinery.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift materials (up to 50 lbs.)
