About The Role

Workster is partnering with a leading European e-mobility scale-up to hire an Operations Manager for its growing Operations team in Mannheim.

This company is building one of the largest and highest-quality e-bike platforms in Europe by sourcing, refurbishing, and delivering premium electric bikes through a highly efficient, customer-first operation.

As Operations Manager, you will own key parts of the end-to-end operational flow, lead and scale warehouse and bike mechanic teams, and build the processes that will support rapid growth while maintaining exceptional service and quality.

Your Role

  • Lead and scale a team of warehouse associates and e-bike mechanics (towards 100+ FTE over time)
  • Own, design, and continuously improve major parts of the operational flow
  • Drive a strong customer-centric mindset across all operational decisions
  • Ensure outstanding daily warehouse output and performance
  • Manage relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and partners
  • Design and optimize processes for customer experience and financial efficiency
  • Build tools, dashboards, and reporting to gain full visibility on operations
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to support fast growth and expansion
  • Lead by example in a hands-on, high-performance environment

Your Qualifications

  • Strong academic background in Engineering, Logistics, Finance, Business, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in Operations, Finance, Consulting, or similar roles
  • Fluency in both German and English
  • Strong leadership and communication skills in operational or warehouse environments
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • High attention to detail with a strong drive for operational excellence
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, changing environments
  • Ownership mindset with readiness to take responsibility for complex operations
