Carondelet Cardio East Perform stress testing including treadmill and pharmacological tests, ankle brachial index testing and Holter monitor applications.

Conduct job duties in accordance with TPR policies, compliance procedures, and patient confidentiality. Perform Treadmill and Pharmacological Stress testing, Stress ECHO, ABI’s, and Holter monitors. Manage Holter Monitor application and maintain associated electronic records. Perform Resting EKG and ABI testing. Record patient vital signs and maintain accurate clinical charting. Maintain files, update computer data, and run charges on all tests. Communicate with patients, physicians, and hospital personnel to ensure timely follow-up. Relay and retrieve TTM reports to and from designated physicians promptly. Monitor and respond to tasks daily, documenting current status in the EMR. Assist with additional duties including phone calls, report distribution, and department statistics.

Education: HS Diploma/GED, completion of Certified Medical Assistant program and completion of a certified EKG certification or Certified Cardiographic Stress Testing course. Preferred Education: Successful completion of arrhythmia, 12 lead EKG certification exam and ACLS certification or Certified Cardiographic course with ACLS certifications. Certification : Current BLS and ACLS certifications. Experience: One year experience in Cardiographic Tech or one to two years’ cardiology clinic experience. Preferred Experience: Prior experience as a Medical Assistant, stress treadmill and stress pharmalogical experience. #LI-KK1
