Ultrasound Tech

Anyone traveling more than 60 miles one way to Holy Cross is eligible for a travel stipend of $60 per day. Under minimal supervision, performs basic diagnostic ultrasound procedures, as requested by a licensed physician. Exercises professional judgment in providing health care services, to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly. May be multi-credentialed in the area of sonography

Produces high quality diagnostic sonographs as prescribed by a licensed practitioner Assists with amnio procedure biopsies Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period Processes and files films as needed Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements Experience: Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Diagnostic Sonography Certifications: Must be registered within 24 months of graduation(and 12 months of hire); BLS Preferred Requirements Experience: 1-3 years Education: Associates degree Certifications: ARDMS or ARRT(S ) #LI-SB3
