St. Joseph's Hospital, your primary practice home, is a nationally recognized cardiac center holding Comprehensive Stroke Center certification, Chest Pain Center accreditation, and Cardiac Arrest Receiving Center designation. Position Highlights Specialty: General Cardiology, employed full-time with Carondelet Medical Group Schedule: 35–45 hours per clinic week Hospital rotation: Shared 7-days-on rotation; no calls after 5 PM Hospital duties: Consults, echocardiogram and EKG interpretation Patient volume: Clinic census 24–30 patients; hospital census 10–25 patients Dedicated structural heart team supporting high-risk patients, cardiogenic shock, structural/valvular disease, and STEMI/shock transfer management Practice setting: Multi-provider physician and APP team; centralized professional services support What We Offer Competitive compensation package Paid time off and CME allowance Malpractice insurance provided Health, dental, and life insurance 401(k) with employer matching Deferred compensation program Relocation assistance Centralized billing, credentialing, HR, and compliance support In-house marketing and business development resources Candidate Requirements MD or DO degree Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology Arizona medical license, or eligibility to obtain one Strong clinical and interpersonal skills with a commitment to patient-centered care Why Tucson Tucson is one of the Southwest's most livable cities — a UNESCO City of Gastronomy set against the stunning backdrop of the Sonoran Desert and five surrounding mountain ranges.
