Housekeeper III- Floor Tech

Position Summary Provides environmental cleaning services. Responsible to maintain the facility in a sanitary, neat, attractive and safe condition at all times. Responsible to maintain the floors running heavy cleaning equipment, walls and baseboards in a clean manner including stripping and refinishing, carpet cleaning, and burnishing.

Sanitizes all surfaces of the facility using a germicidal cleaner. Performs dust mop and mopping all tile floors. Performs burnishing of floors. Performs carpet cleaning and vacuuming. Strips and refinishes floors. Removes infectious and non-infectious waste. Performs project cleaning in designated areas. Cleans walls, doors, and baseboards, picks up trash and delivers linen/laundry. Maintains accurate records including discharges, pager sign-out sheets, cart sign-out sheets, and Kronos corrections. Other related job tasks or responsibilities as assigned.

Special Skills Knowledge of floor care equipment. Ability to read in English to follow oral and/or written instructions. Ability to prioritize work. Must have good customer service skills. Preferred Requirements Education: High school or equivalent preferred to enable individual to follow oral or written instruction in English. Experience: Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare environment preferred. #LI-SB3
