Position Highlights Specialty: Pediatric General Surgery Schedule: Typically 2–3 clinic days and 1–2 surgical days per week; clinic hours Monday through Friday Call: Shared call, 1:3 rotation Patient Volume: 6–10 patients per clinic day; average 5–8 surgeries per week Practice Setting: Medical office building adjacent to hospital for seamless care coordination Facility: 110-bed pediatric hospital, including 40-bed general pediatric unit, 16-bed PICU, and newly built 30-bed Level IV NICU Support Resources: Board-certified pediatric anesthesiologists on staff, pediatric hospitalists, and 24/7 in-house neonatologist coverage Subspecialty Depth: On-site pediatric subspecialists spanning cardiology, oncology, neurology, gastroenterology, orthopedics, and more What We Offer Guaranteed base salary with production bonus Physician time off including vacation and CME with stipend In-house billing, coding, and collections — no administrative burden on you Malpractice insurance provided Health, dental, and life insurance 401(k) with employer matching Deferred compensation program Relocation assistance Candidate Requirements MD or DO degree Board eligible or board certified in Pediatric Surgery Active Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain one Why El Paso El Paso is one of the most consistently safe large cities in the United States, offering a welcoming, tight-knit community with an exceptionally high quality of life at a very affordable cost of living.
