You will join a well-resourced system with two strategically positioned campuses — a Primary Stroke Center and a Comprehensive Stroke Center — supported by a 12-bed Neuro ICU, two EMUs, and a dedicated Biplane Suite. This is a program-building role designed for a physician who is ready to make a lasting clinical impact and establish themselves as a leader in an expanding market. If you are a driven, entrepreneurial neurosurgeon or endovascular neurologist looking for both clinical depth and institutional support, this is the opportunity you have been waiting for. Position Highlights Specialty: Neurosurgery with Endovascular focus; candidates trained in both neurosurgery and endovascular neurology, or endovascular neurology alone, will be considered Procedure volume: 1–2 procedures per day (1 scheduled, 1 emergent); approximately 100 aneurysm cases per year Call schedule: Endovascular neurology call 10–15 days per month; general neurosurgery call approximately 1:4 Procedures include: Endovascular intervention, minimally invasive spine, neurodiagnostics, nerve and muscle biopsies, and neurostimulation Facility capabilities: Mechanical thrombectomy, elective aneurysm center designation, designated Neurosciences Center across two campuses Practice setting: Hospital-employed, multi-campus health system with strong infrastructure and subspecialty support Opportunity: Ground-floor program-building role in the fastest-growing area of El Paso What We Offer Guaranteed base salary with production bonus potential Physician time off including vacation and CME with stipend Billing, coding, and collections handled in-house — no administrative burden on you Deferred compensation plan Health, dental, and life insurance Malpractice coverage provided 401(k) with employer matching Relocation assistance available Candidate Requirements MD or DO degree Board eligible or board certified Training in both neurosurgery and endovascular neurology Active Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain one Why El Paso El Paso is a vibrant, sun-drenched city that consistently earns recognition as one of the safest large cities in the United States — making it an exceptional place to live, practice, and raise a family.
