About The Role
Job Shift: Days Job Type: Full Time The Electrophysiology Tech performs specialized cardiovascular procedures in the Electrophysiology Laboratory (EP), including but not limited to: records hemodynamic pressures and computerized data, operates special X-Ray equipment, burns c.d.’s, assists the invasive/interventional cardiologist with procedures using sterile technique and has knowledge of cardiac medications
Reports for scheduled shift on time and prepared to assume responsibilities. Attends and participates in meetings and is responsible for information. Adheres to Corporate, Regional, Hospital and Departmental policy and procedure 100% of the time.
EDUCATION: Minimum: Graduate of accredited program in Radiology Technology, or Equivalent or Graduate of accredited Cardiovascular Invasive program or equivalent (CCI/CVT) or Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology Program EXPERIENCE: One- year experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, EP Laboratory preferred. REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION: Radiologic Technologist Radiologic Technology Registration/Licensure as required (ARRT) Florida License CRT RCIS within 12 months of hire required. AHA ACLS Certification AHA BLS Certification Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology Program AHA BLS Certification AHA ACLS Certification Registry or Certification of Cardiovascular Technologist, RCES or RCIS within 12 months of hire. OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: Field of expertise: Cardiac Catheterization/Electrophysiology Effective oral and written communication skills in the English language. Able to perform effectively in a complex, patient centered environment. #LI-MQ1
