About The Role

Our client is seeking a Finance Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of the Finance Department and its team members. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial processing, reporting, and overall departmental efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the daily operations of the Finance Department
  • Posting journals and processing purchase and sales invoices
  • Performing bank and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Creating, issuing, and following up on sales invoices
  • Processing supplier and consultant payments in a timely manner
  • Liaising with suppliers and consultants to resolve payment queries
  • Printing, saving, and filing invoices and other financial documentation
  • Assisting in the preparation of management accounts
  • Supporting the audit process as required
  • Preparing monthly and ad hoc financial reports

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • AAT qualification or early-stage ACCA studies preferred
  • Ability to take ownership of tasks and work on own initiative
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong multitasking and analytical skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
