About The Role
Our client is seeking a Finance Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of the Finance Department and its team members. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial processing, reporting, and overall departmental efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the daily operations of the Finance Department
- Posting journals and processing purchase and sales invoices
- Performing bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Creating, issuing, and following up on sales invoices
- Processing supplier and consultant payments in a timely manner
- Liaising with suppliers and consultants to resolve payment queries
- Printing, saving, and filing invoices and other financial documentation
- Assisting in the preparation of management accounts
- Supporting the audit process as required
- Preparing monthly and ad hoc financial reports
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role
- AAT qualification or early-stage ACCA studies preferred
- Ability to take ownership of tasks and work on own initiative
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong multitasking and analytical skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
