Client Accountant

A vacancy has arisen for a Semi/Fully Qualified Accountant within our client’s Accountancy Department. Our client is a Corporate Services Provider. Key Responsibilities

• Carry out assignments in accounting and related matters as required.
• Provide both on-site and off-site support to clients.
• Prepare inter-company debt notes and manage the settlement of current accounts.
• Maintain ledgers and perform monthly reconciliations.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly and year-end accounts.
• Prepare tax computations.
• Draft management accounts and financial statements, including balance sheet checklists.
• Assist auditors with queries and documentation as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

• Fully qualified accountant (University degree or equivalent) or in the final stages of the ACCA qualification .
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting environment.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent communication skills and a self-motivated attitude.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Full fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV will be considered an asset.
