Position # : 9012021 Expected Start Date: To Be Determined, posted until filled Union: HSAS Facility: Broadway Primary Health Care Clinic City/Town: Yorkton Department: Chronic Disease Management Collaborative Type: Part-time regular FTE: 0.27 Shift Information: Days, Evenings Number of Hours per Rotation: 4 shifts of 7.5 hours per 3 weeks Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: Standard Hours Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Dietitian - Degree $36.171 to $44.23 Travel Required: Yes Job description: Reporting to the manager, the dietitian - degree provides medical nutrition therapy which includes screening, assessment, developing and implementing evidence-based care plans, counselling, direction on nutrition support, and other needed nutrition interventions for patients/residents/clients. This position will work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary health care team to create a patient/resident/client and family centered environment conducive to the provision of quality care Human Resources Exemption: No Licenses Valid Class 5 driver's license Education Completion of an approved Dietetic Practicum Program Bachelor of Science in Nutrition (BSc(Nutr)) Competencies Computer skills Interpersonal skills Organizational skills Time management skills Communication skills Experience Previous experience in a clinical nutrition setting is an asset Knowledge & Abilities Self motivated with the ability to work independently Knowledge in clinical nutrition Ability to establish effective treatment relationships with clients Ability to concentrate within a dynamic work environment Ability to assess/develop/implement/evaluate a comprehensive nutrition care plan Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team Knowledge of quality improvement initiatives Other Information Registered/eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan College of Dietitians Registered/eligible for registration with the Dietitians of Canada (DC) Scheduled hours of work may be reduced during the rotation stipulated when a statutory holiday is recognized during that period.
