The incumbent will promote the delivery of patient centred care through the application of professional standards. The position will have specific responsibilities related to patient needs and clinical knowledge. Human Resources Exemption: No Licenses Basic Cardiac Life Support Certificate (BCLS) Valid Class 5 driver's license Education Graduate from a Respiratory Therapy training program accredited by the CSRT Successful completion of an exam approved by the CSRT Competencies Communication skills Interpersonal skills Judgement Skills Demonstrates ability to show initiative and self-direction. Experience One (1) year previous related life skills/experience Knowledge & Abilities Demonstrated knowledge, experience, or training in all of the position duties Ability to work well both independently and in a team Ability to respond under pressure. Ability to function effectively in high stress and in emergency situations Manages change effectively, demonstrates positive attitude Ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team of professionals Other Education and Training Basic Cardiac Life Support Certificate (BCLS) Experience with Adult education to other care providers an asset Other Information Registered/eligible with Saskatchewan College of Respiratory Therapist (SCRT) Requires a valid driver’s license. May require access to a vehicle for work.
