The Continuous Improvement Engineer plays a vital role in enabling the successful implementation of programs and projects that drive change, enhance process improvement, and support continuous transformation within Asurion TCP’s supply chain operations.

Essential Job Skills/Duties

  • Leads performance improvement initiatives across the business
  • Drives Lean Six Sigma culture and problem-solving mindset
  • Trains and coaches teams on CI tools and methodologies
  • Shares best practices and manages CI maturity framework
  • Provides leadership on organizational initiatives
  • Leads and supports cross-functional projects
  • Partners with Finance to track project financial impact
  • Reviews projects to ensure alignment with objectives
  • Applies Lean Six Sigma to challenge and improve processes
  • Promotes behavioral and operational change

Required Technical Skills

  • Lean methods including 5S, SMED, and Kanban.
  • Six Sigma problem solving and DMAIC.
  • Process mapping and root cause analysis.
  • Statistical analysis using Excel or Minitab.
  • Data visualization and KPI dashboards.
  • Structured experimentation and DOE basics.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

Required Soft/Leadership Skills

  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication.
  • Facilitation of cross-functional workshops.
  • Influence without authority across teams.
  • Bias for action and measurable outcomes.
  • Stakeholder management and follow-through.

Required Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BSECE, BSEE, BSME, BSMetE, BSMatE preferred)
  • Minimum of 4 years of work experience in a consumer electronics manufacturing setup (Engineering, Manufacturing, or equivalent) or in a service industry as a training specialist or similar role

Preferred Education & Experience

  • Experience in regulated environments.
  • Multi-site improvement deployment experience.

Required Licenses/Certifications

  • Lean practitioner or equivalent training.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification.

Preferred Licenses/Certifications

  • Six Sigma Black Belt certification.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • May lead project teams and kaizen cohorts.
  • No direct hire authority expected.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS (bulleted)
