About The Role

About the Company

The company is an international FinTech business focused on high-volume B2C lending across Europe, LATAM, and Asia.

It operates across five active markets and has already built a sizeable performance-driven acquisition engine. The next growth stage is focused on making this engine more scalable and efficient: strengthening PPC and affiliate channels, improving CPA and funnel economics, building repeat-customer retention, and creating a more structured marketing operating model across all markets.

The role is centered around growth, acquisition efficiency, and marketing ownership in a fast-moving, highly regulated FinTech environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Own acquisition targets across 5 active markets (RO, CZ, ES, MX, IN) with full P&L accountability for the marketing budget ($5M+ annually).
  • Scale, and optimize affiliate and PPC as primary acquisition channels; set channel architecture, manage key partner relationships, and drive CPA efficiency across all markets.
  • Establish and enforce a baseline-first operating model: define measurement points, freeze variables, run feedback cycles, no scaling without proven unit economics.
  • Lead market launches end-to-end: local market research, channel mix, partner onboarding, CPA benchmarking, and go/no-go decisions.
  • Apply Pareto discipline: prioritize the 20% of campaigns, markets, and initiatives that drive 80% of results; actively kill underperforming actions.
  • Build a lean team of senior specialists (not a pool of juniors); own hiring, performance standards, and retention of marketing leads per market.
  • Develop retention and repeat-borrower programs, particularly in Romania and other markets.
  • Deliver artifact-based reporting: dashboards, CPA funnels (lead → approved → funded), LTV/CAC models.
  • Manage a multi-brand architecture where applicable (e.g., parallel websites per market) without diluting acquisition efficiency.

Expected Results

  • Hit monthly and annual new customer acquisition and repeat-borrowers targets in each active market within approved CPA ceilings.
  • Maintain or improve CPA across affiliate and PPC channels.
  • Establish a functioning performance digital marketing ecosystem across 5 markets.
  • Grow Romania's acquisition volume and launch a repeat-borrower retention program with measurable LTV uplift.
  • Deliver a functioning, effective marketing team with ownership.

Professional Qualifications

  • 3+ years as CMO or Head of Performance Marketing in a single company managing multi-market acquisition; CMO-1 experience at larger organizations is acceptable.
  • Proven ownership of annual marketing budgets of $5M+ with direct accountability for CPA and new customer volume targets.
  • Deep hands-on expertise in affiliate marketing and Google PPC as primary acquisition channels - able to audit accounts, challenge agency outputs, and set channel strategy independently.
  • Track record of 50%+ annual new customer growth or 100K+ new customers per year in a performance-driven environment.
  • International B2C experience across 3+ markets simultaneously, including at least one emerging or high-regulatory-complexity market (one big market like IND also can be).
  • Experience in fintech, consumer lending, BNPL, or other high-volume, CPA-sensitive verticals (e-commerce or marketplace platforms, dating, gambling, forex).
  • Artifact-first work style: delivers dashboards, models, and structured analyses, not slide decks with general observations.
  • Fluent in English; additional language relevant to active markets is a plus.
  • Comfortable managing fully remote, distributed teams across multiple time zones.
  • Able to work hands-on during the build phase: does not wait for IT or agency setup before producing results.
