About The Role

This is a hybrid position, requires onsite as needed. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager II to support the Clinical Command Center (CCC), a highly visible and mission-critical program within the DTP PMO. The CCC serves as the central hub for real-time clinical operations, logistics, emergency response, and strategic support, including coordination of virtual clinical services and patient care delivery. This role will be responsible for managing medium- to large-scale projects, as well as multiple smaller initiatives simultaneously, ensuring alignment and execution across interconnected efforts. The Project Manager II will play a key role in maintaining program timelines, mitigating risks, managing interdependencies, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Works in tandem with top management to achieve corporate objectives by directing and leading one or more project teams. Reviews and evaluates project plans and objectives. Tracks project progress with respect to time, budget and demonstrated results. Communicates progress to top management and modifies schedules as required. Negotiates with clients, staff and outside vendors as required. Establishes quality and performance targets. Applies effective project management methodologies and control techniques. May recommend changes to the infrastructure consistent with achieving broad objectives. May contribute to the disaster recovery plan and implements it when necessary. May prepare staff performance evaluations. Assists in developing dashboards to track operational performance goals Performs additional duties as assigned or requested.

Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline Requires solid project management skills, ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a cross-functional environment. Requires excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and team building skills, business judgment, and proven expertise in directing the efforts of a technical staff. Eight years of diverse experience in multiple areas of technology of which at least four years in a leadership position, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. At least five years supervising technical staff. PMP is preferred Non-Bargaining Unit, 261 - DTP Project and Change Management - MSH, Mount Sinai Hospital
