Salary: According to UAW/Mount Sinai agreement, effective 7/1/25 starting salary $74,692 Department: 866 – Department of Immunology and Immunotherapy Location: 1470 Madison Ave., 5 th Floor, New York, NY 10029 Department website: Laboratory website: The Merad Laboratory is seeking highly motivated postdocs to lead projects aimed on identifying pathogenic inflammatory programs shared across inflammatory and cancer diseases. Using different computational methods the postdoc will look for molecular program that correlate with disease outcome and response to treatment. The focus on research includes Identify shared inflammatory programs across inflammatory diseases and cancer using computational analysis of molecular and clinical data. Goals/Outcome of the research project: Discover molecular signatures linked to disease outcomes and treatment response, identify potential biomarkers and therapeutic targets, and support the development of precision medicine approaches. Also present results in work in progress and the immunology retreat , participate in weekly lab meeting and journal clubs as well as mentor graduate students. Technical Duties: (include any protocols) Perform independent research in the area of T cell biology Critically analyze data quality and results, communicate results to scientists and lay people Write or assist in writing scientific papers and grants Collaborate closely with other scientists to conduct research Qualifications: Ph.D. required Experience working in a research laboratory setting This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement between the ISMMS and the Sinai Postdoctoral Organizing Committee - UAW.
