As an AEM Content Operations Engineer , you will bridge the gap between technical execution and digital marketing strategy, ensuring the seamless deployment, optimization, and scaling of content architectures across Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). You will own the technical operations of our content ecosystem, streamlining authoring workflows, maintaining content integrity, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maximize the platform's capabilities. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving operational excellence, implementing best practices for content delivery, and mentoring junior engineers to support high-volume digital initiatives.

How your day-to-day work will look like

  • Build and deliver the world’s best B2B Digital Marketing Experience to prospects and customers across global geo and localization sites.
  • Manage day-to-day publishing in AEM (On-Prem and Cloud): authoring, page builds, components, templates, DAM, MSM/Launches, translations, approvals, and publishing.
  • Execute global content lifecycle: intake, creation, review, localization, versioning, deprecation/archival; enforce taxonomy, metadata, governance, and SEO basics.
  • Collaborate with global digital marketing, localization and regional teams; manage ticket queues, prioritize work, and report status/SLA adherence.
  • Plan and execute content migrations, releases, and geo site launches with strong QA, accessibility (WCAG), and brand/legal compliance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across author/publish tiers, replication, dispatcher/CDN caching; coordinate with platform/dev/QA teams for fixes.
  • Create and maintain publishing playbooks, checklists, and SOPs; train and support business authors and stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and implement them by building automation scripts — repetitive publishing tasks, bulk updates, asset processing, localization using HTML/JS(JSS)/Python and APIs.
  • Identify opportunities for work and process optimization and implement them by working with various teams and stakeholders.
  • Produce weekly/monthly dashboards on throughput, quality, and backlog; communicate risks and mitigation plans.

What makes you a great fit 🎯

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6+ Years in web publishing with expert-level AEM experience (On-Prem and Cloud), with demonstrated focus on localization and geo site management.
  • Expert-level AEM knowledge for Sites and Assets: editable templates, core components, content fragments, experience fragments, workflows, permissions, user management, forms.
  • AEM Multi Site Manager (MSM) and Translation Framework: Blueprints/Live Copies, rollout configs, inheritance management, language roots, Translation Projects, TMS/vendor connectors, translation rules, and round-trip review/QA.
  • Solid content lifecycle management skills: intake, governance, workflows, versioning, localization, content modeling, metadata/taxonomy, DAM best practices.
  • Automation/scripting experience is a must: JavaScript/Python; HTML/CSS, REST/GraphQL; CSV/JSON processing, AI workflows.
  • Website localization and internationalization (i18n/l10n): translation workflows, language copies, regional/locale variants, localized SEO and accessibility adherence.
  • Experience/knowledge in Adobe products: Dynamic Media, Workfront, Adobe Target, Query Builder.
  • Basic AEM development exposure: components, dialogs, clientlibs, Sling concepts, packaging; Cloud Manager awareness; log analysis.
  • Understanding of SEO, analytics (Adobe/GA), tags management (Adobe Launch/GTM), personalization (A/B testing) and performance/caching fundamentals (dispatcher/CDN).
  • Experience with Agile tools (Jira/Workfront, Confluence), Git/CI/CD, and release management is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge/experience in AI tools and workflows related to publishing: creating, executing, and optimizing workflows.
  • Proven prioritization and reporting skills; experience working with SLAs and providing stakeholder and leadership updates.
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication; strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Self-driven, proactive problem-solving, ownership, and ability to operate independently under tight deadlines.
  • Data-driven mindset for reporting and continuous improvement/optimization.
