Network & Security Operations Tech

Work Setup: Fully Remote

• Work Schedule: First 2 months (Training) – Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm Mountain Time
• Actual Schedule (After Training) – Monday to Friday, 12:am-9am Mountain Time
• Salary: $1,800 monthly
• Employer: MSP Company, located in Canada

Core responsibilities for this position include

• Respond to incoming alerts & notifications from our Remote Management & Monitoring System
• Monitor, review and action monitoring & security events
• Follow clients intake procedures.
• Adhere to established service ticket creation standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents & events for monitored devices
• Provide consistent communication and updates
• Escalate out of scope issues to senior level support
• Other duties as required

Technical expertise required

• At least 2+ years of experience supporting Windows-based workstations & server infrastructure
• At least 2+ years of experience supporting Microsoft cloud-based infrastructure (Microsoft365 & Azure)
• At least 2+ years of experience configuring and supporting enterprise networking environments

Training and Certification

• A+ Certification is preferred Knowledge in basic networking configurations
• NET+ Certification is preferred Experience in Windows Operating Systems
• MS-900 – Introduction to Microsoft 365 is considered an asset
• AZ-900 – Azure Fundamentals is considered an asset
