To create and contribute to the creation of knowledge by undertaking a specified range of activities within the ENERGISE-BD trial which is being funded by the Wellcome Trust. ENERGISE-BD is a phase III RCT of a keto-genic diet vs NHS eat well plan, for people with bipolar disorder depression. It is being co-led by the the University of Birmingham and the University of Edinburgh.
