Intern, Public Relations & Media Intelligence (TH)

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented, bilingual intern to join our Thailand team. This role is ideal for students with a strong interest in news, media trends, and data-driven communications.

As an intern, you will support day-to-day PR and media intelligence activities while gaining hands-on exposure to how integrated communications programmes are planned and executed at PRecious Communications. You will learn how to track, analyse, and translate media insights into meaningful reporting that supports client strategies.

We are looking for candidates available for a 2–4 month internship .

Responsibilities

• Media Monitoring & Analysis
• Monitor daily news coverage across print, online, and social media platforms.
• Identify and flag key trends, brand mentions, and relevant industry developments.
• Track competitor activities and emerging topics across sectors.
• Reporting & Insights
• Draft and compile structured reports, including:
• Daily coverage summaries
• Weekly / monthly / quarterly analytics reports
• Post-event and campaign reports
• Support analysis of media performance and highlight key insights for internal teams
• Research
• Conduct research on industry topics, market trends, and client sectors.
• Identify and track relevant KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders), influencers, and media outlets.
• Support preparation of background materials for campaigns and proposals.
• Database Management
• Maintain and update the media database, ensuring accuracy of contact details for journalists, editors, and influencers.
• Support verification and categorisation of media and influencer lists.
• Operational Support
• Provide logistical support for media and PR events, including coordination of venues, materials, and media kits.
• Assist with sourcing and preparation of press materials and event items.
• Support general PR and marketing activities as required.
