Part -Time Research Associate – School of Science & Engineering

Salary: $19.80/HR Location: Science and engineering Position Status: Part-time Hours: Varied, 20 hours per week. Position Number: 870318/70-0174 FLSA Status: Non-exempt POSITION SUMMARY: The Research Associate will report to the chair of the department and will be responsible for running instrumentation in the Environmental and Water Resources Laboratory. This will be primarily water quality testing for drinking, waste, and ambient/environmental samples. As a teaching facility, the Research Associate will also teach research students how to use the instrumentation and present in classes on how to use the instruments. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Teach students how to operate instruments. Support research operations. Completes other duties as assigned.
