Learn more and explore benefits Location: Legal Affairs Position Status: Full-time Hours: Varied Position Number: 237708/ FLSA Status: Exempt POSITION SUMMARY: The Sexual Misconduct Prevention and Response Specialist position will assist students, faculty, and staff in navigating University and community resources, coordinate supportive measures, develop and facilitate prevention education initiatives, and support grant-funded programming and outreach efforts, when applicable. This role requires the exercise of independent judgment and discretion in coordinating resources, developing educational content, facilitating trainings, and collaborating with campus and community partners. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develops, implements, and facilitates campus-wide prevention education programs, trainings, awareness campaigns, and outreach initiatives related to sexual misconduct prevention, consent, healthy relationships, bystander intervention, and related topics for students, faculty, and staff. Conducts intake meetings; provides information regarding reporting options, University processes, and available resources; coordinates and monitors supportive measures; assists students, faculty, and staff in navigating University and community support services; and maintains related case documentation. Maintains records related to prevention and response activities; tracks supportive measures, training participation, program attendance, assessment results, and expenses; compiles data and prepares reports; and supports ongoing program improvement efforts through data collection and recordkeeping. Assists with the implementation, coordination, reporting, and assessment of grant-funded initiatives related to sexual misconduct prevention and response, including data collection, budget tracking, and event coordination. Develops and maintains collaborative relationships with campus and community organizations; coordinates educational opportunities, resource-sharing initiatives, and outreach efforts that support prevention and response activities. Completes other duties as assigned.
