Discovery Technician

Performs case review of felony or misdemeanor filings to ensure all discovery is received from submitting law enforcement agency. Works with and manages various forms of confidential information governed by state and federal law. Generally, the hiring range is $41,711-$52,139 annually. View the full job description here ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : (The following examples are illustrative only and are not intended to be all inclusive.) Reviews and examines digital case files for discovery purposes; works closely with law enforcement agencies to ensure the timely receipt of all discovery; procures necessary media and/or reports, monitors appropriate discovery deadlines to ensure timely completion of affected case. Collaborates with attorneys, law enforcement personnel, paralegals and legal assistants on discovery matters; logs requests, copies /scans and reviews and organizes discovery files to ensure that files are complete. Utilizes resources to research, investigate, and contact necessary parties to identify discovery requiring additional follow-up.
