About The Role

  • Strong experience in Manual Testing and Web Automation Testing.
  • Must-have expertise in Playwright with TypeScript.
  • Good-to-have experience with Cypress automation framework.
  • Strong understanding of Agile QA methodologies and experience working in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environments.
  • Hands-on experience in Test Planning, Test Strategy, Test Design, Test Execution, and Defect Management.
  • Experience in interpreting acceptance criteria and writing effective test cases for user stories.
  • Strong experience in test case organization, execution tracking, and reporting.
  • Hands-on coding experience using JavaScript/TypeScript for test automation.
  • Experience validating HTTP requests/responses, response codes, exception handling, and API testing.
  • Experience testing GraphQL APIs.
  • Hands-on experience using Browser Developer Tools for debugging and validation.
  • Experience with Accessibility Testing using JAWS or similar accessibility tools.
  • Strong working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.
  • Good understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and quality engineering best practices.
  • Experience collaborating closely with Product Managers, Software Engineers, and Engineering Managers.
  • Ability to understand business requirements from a customer perspective and translate them into effective test strategies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript .
  • Perform comprehensive manual and automation testing for web applications to ensure product quality.
  • Create and execute detailed test plans, test strategies, test cases, and test scenarios based on business requirements.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and Engineering teams throughout the Agile development lifecycle.
  • Review user stories, interpret acceptance criteria, and develop comprehensive test coverage.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
  • Automate web application test cases using Playwright and contribute to Cypress automation where applicable.
  • Validate HTTP requests, responses, status codes, exceptions, and GraphQL APIs.
  • Execute accessibility testing using JAWS and ensure compliance with accessibility standards.
  • Utilize Browser Developer Tools to troubleshoot application issues and support defect analysis.
  • Track, report, and manage defects using JIRA while maintaining test documentation in Confluence.
  • Define, monitor, and improve quality metrics to ensure high product quality.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to identify quality risks early and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Support continuous improvement of QA processes, automation frameworks, and testing best practices.
  • Ensure high-quality software delivery through effective collaboration, continuous testing, and quality engineering practices.

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
