Pay: Starting at $60,000/year (higher compensation available based on experience)
Position Overview
We are looking for an organized and proactive Manufacturing Project Coordinator to support custom-order and expedited production programs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role works closely with operations, engineering, production, supply chain, quality, and shipping teams to ensure customer orders move smoothly from order entry through final delivery.

Primary Responsibilities
- Coordinate configure-to-order (CTO) and quick-ship manufacturing orders from initial receipt through shipment and project completion
- Review incoming sales orders for accuracy, product configuration, and completeness
- Monitor project progress, including material availability, production schedules, testing activities, and shipping timelines
- Maintain accurate project and order information within ERP and project tracking systems
- Partner with production, supply chain, engineering, quality, and shipping teams to support daily operations
- Communicate order status, schedule updates, and potential delays to internal teams and customers
- Identify potential scheduling or delivery issues and escalate concerns before they affect project deadlines
- Assist with shipping coordination, logistics documentation, and customer-specific shipping requirements
- Prepare project updates, order status reports, and other operational reports
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts focused on scheduling, order management, and workflow efficiency
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, order management, operations, manufacturing customer service, or inside sales support
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with ERP systems and project tracking software
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting electrical, industrial, or electromechanical manufacturing operations
- Knowledge of configure-to-order (CTO) or make-to-order manufacturing processes
- Exposure to power distribution equipment or industrial products
- Experience coordinating logistics and shipments for manufactured goods
- CAPM certification or an interest in pursuing a project management certification
