About The Role

Senior Backend Engineer – TechCorp (Singapore)

Responsibilities

  • Design and build reliable backend services and APIs.
  • Work on distributed systems, focusing on consensus, consistency, queues, and caching.
  • Drive the adoption and implementation of microservices architecture in production environments.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Go and/or Python.
  • Strong knowledge of distributed systems, including consensus, consistency, queues, and caching mechanisms.
  • Experience in designing and operating microservices, including observability, CI/CD pipelines, and incident response.
  • Commitment to strong testing and code quality practices.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Knowledge of Postgres and Redis.
  • Experience with event-driven systems.
