Now Hiring - Used Vehicle Technician

• Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per Flat Rate Hour
• Schedule: This is a full-time opportunity. We ask that you have open availability to support dealership operations and customer demand. To be successful in this role, you will be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as these are peak business periods and important opportunities for maximizing earnings.
• This position is located onsite and reports to the Service Manager.

What You'll Do

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, observing Lithia and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose cause of malfunction.
• Complete all repairs according to the applicable safety requirements.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
• Document work performed on repair order and document test procedures/results.
• Acquire and maintain manufacturer and ASE certifications by completing the necessary and required training.
• Constructively communicate with dealership personnel to satisfy customer needs.

What You'll Bring

• Certification/Training: Must demonstrate confidence with lube and maintenance services, engine repair, suspension/steering repair, brake repair and heating and A/C repair (optional).
• Customer Pay Proficiency Level: Greater than 100%
• We require 2+ years of experience as a Technician in a dealership or shop.
• We prefer ASE certifications
• Working knowledge of computers and technology. Comfortability in navigating computer and dealership technologies.
• Willingness to participate in professional development activities to stay current on industry knowledge to grow with us and meet projected service goals.

Total Rewards

This is a flat rate position that is also eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation, which includes bonuses based on Production Productivity

The average wage range for this position is $20.00-$40.00 per Flat Rate Hours

Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
