About The Role
Acumatica is seeking an innovative and execution-focused Financial Systems Transformation Lead to join our Accounting Leadership.
This role will lead the transformation of finance and accounting processes, systems, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities as the company scales through significant organic growth and acquisitions.
This leader will challenge existing processes and operating assumptions, design scalable operating models, modernize finance processes, drive automation initiatives, lead acquisition-related systems integration, and build a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate combines finance process expertise, business systems leadership, transformation experience, and a passion for leveraging technology and AI to improve organizational effectiveness.
Specific goals for this position center around achieving significant reduction in manual finance activities and increased automation across key accounting functions; responsible and successful implementation of AI-enabled workflows; faster and more efficient close processes; improved finance productivity and scalability; and seamless integration of acquired businesses.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Finance Transformation
- Develop and execute a multi-year finance transformation roadmap.
- Redesign finance and accounting processes to support rapid growth and acquisitions.
- Improve scalability, efficiency, control, and user experience across finance operations.
- Establish productivity and automation metrics for the organization.
- Own the architecture and optimization of finance-related quote-to-cash processes.
- Lead strategy and governance for finance workflow tools and reporting and analytics platforms
Lead AI & Automation Initiatives
Develop and execute an AI strategy across finance and accounting.
Identify opportunities to automate and improve
- Contract review and setup
- Revenue operations workflows
- Reconciliations and close management
- Audit support
- Reporting and analytics
- Workflow routing and approvals
Build governance frameworks supporting responsible AI adoption.
Lead Acquisition Integration
Partner with Corporate Development, Technical Accounting, and Controllership teams to
- Assess acquired company systems
- Develop finance integration roadmaps
- Lead systems harmonization efforts
- Coordinate data migration activities
- Accelerate operational synergies
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in finance transformation, finance operations, consulting, business systems, or related disciplines.
- Experience leading large-scale transformation initiatives.
- Demonstrated success implementing AI-enabled workflows automation.
- Experience supporting SaaS or subscription business models.
- Strong understanding of quote-to-cash and record-to-report processes.
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives.

For this role, the salary range is $160,000-$200,000 annually. This range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job and may vary based on location. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, experience and other relevant elements.
At Acumatica, certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
