We are seeking a talented Senior Rehabilitation Consultant with a professional background in Exercise Physiology or Physiotherapy interested in working in the Occupational Rehabilitation sector in Wollongong NSW.

Being a Senior Rehabilitation Consultant, you will

  • Assist clients in their rehabilitation, employment or education journey under various schemes such as workers compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare, Department of Veteran's Affairs, and employer-funded injury prevention programs;
  • Dependent on professional background, conduct Initial Assessments, Functional Assessments, Vocational Assessments, Earning Capacity Assessments and Transferrable Skills Assessments;
  • Case management (caseloads are manageable, and our consultants have the support of Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks);
  • Applying your clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes;
  • Working with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs;
  • Working collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals;
  • Assisting those with an injury or health conditions to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.

We’re looking for a motivated and compassionate professional who brings

  • Tertiary qualifications in  Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology
  • General registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency ( AHPRA ); or
  • Accredited with Exercise & Sports Science Australia ( ESSA ) 
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A genuine passion for helping others achieve positive outcomes
  • Empathy, resilience, and a client-centred approach
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Previous experience in occupational rehabilitation (desirable, not essential)
  • A  current NSW Driver’s Licence  and access to a  comprehensively insured vehicle
