About The Role

We are hiring an experienced and qualified Construction Manager to lead Transmission Line and Substation projects across India and the Gulf region.

Locations

  • Kutch, Gujarat (India)
  • Saudi Arabia / UAE (Gulf Region)
  • Industry: High-Voltage Power Transmission – OHTL & Substations
  • Voltage Levels: 220 kV / 380 kV / 400 kV / 765 kV
  • Experience Required: 13–15 Years
  • Joining: Within 30–60 Days (Immediate Joiners Preferred)

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in

  • execution of OHTL and Substation projects
  • quality assurance & audits
  • HSE compliance
  • stakeholder coordination
  • testing & commissioning

Experience in 380 kV and above OHTL projects will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Project Planning & Overall Management
  • Lead complete lifecycle from planning to commissioning
  • Prepare construction schedules, resource plans & WBS
  • Develop scope, budget, schedule and risk plans
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, QA/QC & HSE teams
  1. Site Execution & Technical Oversight
  • Manage execution of:
  • route survey & profiling
  • foundation works (normal, pile, rock, open cast)
  • tower erection (lattice/multi-circuit/river crossing/special towers)
  • conductor, OPGW & earthwire stringing
  • sagging, clipping & testing
  • Ensure compliance with national & international standards (IS/IEC)
  1. Quality Assurance & Control
  • Implement QA/QC plans & audits
  • Monitor contractor workmanship
  • Approve inspection clearances for foundation, tower & stringing
  • Ensure proper material handling & storage
  1. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Management
  • Implement project-specific HSE plans and risk assessments
  • Conduct safety audits & toolbox talks
  • Ensure PPE compliance & safe work at height practices
  1. Contractor & Resource Management
  • Manage subcontractors & workforce
  • Mobilize resources, equipment & logistics
  • Monitor progress and prepare DPR/WPR/MPR
  • Control cost and prevent delays
  1. Stakeholder & Client Interface
  • Primary contact for:
  • Client and consultants
  • Government/local authorities
  • Landowners/forest departments
  • Handle ROW (Right of Way) issues
  1. Testing, Commissioning & Handover
  • Perform pre-commissioning inspections & line patrolling
  • Support charging readiness
  • Coordinate final handover to O&M teams
  1. Documentation & Compliance
  • Prepare:
  • method statements
  • inspection reports
  • measurement sheets
  • quality & safety records
  • Ensure statutory & environmental compliance
