  • As an Electrical Engineer Senior, you’ll lead the design and optimization of electrical systems that power
  • essential infrastructure—pipelines, compressor stations, and storage facilities. You’ll apply your technical
  • expertise to integrate advanced technologies like automation, real-time monitoring, and energy storage,
  • driving efficiency and innovation across operations. A key part of your role is ensuring safety through the
  • implementation of arc flash mitigation, fault detection systems, and rigorous compliance with regulatory and
  • environmental standards. You’ll also manage complex projects from concept to completion, aligning
  • engineering solutions with business goals and timelines. This is a high-impact role where your leadership and

Responsibilities/Expectations

  • Leads the design, implementation, and optimization of electrical systems and power distribution

networks supporting critical infrastructure such as pipelines, compressor stations, and storage facilities

  • Champions the integration of advanced technologies including automation, real-time monitoring, and

energy storage to enhance system performance and reduce operational costs

  • Implements robust safety measures such as arc flash mitigation and fault detection systems to protect

personnel and ensure infrastructure reliability

  • Provides technical expertise in power distribution, electrical schematics, and system layouts for both

new construction and upgrades to existing facilities

  • Manages complex engineering projects from concept to completion ensuring alignment with business

goals timelines and budget constraints

  • Ensures compliance with all relevant safety, environmental and regulatory standards across electrical

systems and project execution

  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver engineering solutions that meet internal and

external customer needs

  • Mentors and supports the development of junior engineers fostering technical growth knowledge

sharing and a culture of continuous improvement

  • Understanding of power system design, analysis, and simulation (e.g., ETAP, MATLAB, PSCAD,

Simulink or similar tools)

  • Knowledge of high-voltage equipment, transformers, generators, and switchgear
  • Understanding of grid integration and renewable energy systems
  • Experience in managing procurement processes for electrical equipment and materials, with

established industry contacts for sourcing reliable vendors and suppliers

  • Preferred: Experience in overseeing the (FAT) commissioning, testing, and startup of electrical

equipment to ensure proper functionality and compliance with design specifications

  • Other duties as assigned.

Education/Years of Experience

  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering field from an ABET accredited college or
  • university, OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology from an ABET accredited college or
  • university in a relevant field with Professional Engineer (P.E.) license (Highly Preferred) and eight
  • (8) years engineering experience in natural gas, data centers or related industry.
  • Preferred: PE License
  • Preferred: Master’s degree in electrical engineering
