• Supervise melting and ingot casting operations
• Monitor furnace parameters such as temperature and charging process
• Ensure correct raw material charging and alloy composition
• Maintain production targets and quality standards
• Coordinate with quality control and production teams
• Ensure proper handling of molten metal
• Maintain daily production and furnace records
• Enforce shop floor safety procedures
