QC Inspector - Welding- Qatar

We are looking for an experienced QC Inspector – Welding for a reputed contracting company involved in Refinery, Petrochemical, and Fertilizer projects in Qatar.

Position Details

• Position: QC Inspector – Welding
• Location: Qatar
• Employment Type: Full-Time / Project-Based

Candidate Requirements

• ✅ Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• ✅ 8–9 years of relevant experience
• ✅ CSWIP 3.1 or 3.2.1 – Mandatory
• ✅ Strong experience in steel fabrication projects
• ✅ Experience with shutdown & turnaround projects preferred
• ✅ Gulf experience will be an added advantage

Key Responsibilities

• ✔ Inspect welding activities for piping, structural steel, and storage tanks
• ✔ Review and verify WPS, PQR, WQT
• ✔ Monitor welding, fit-up, joint preparation, and consumables
• ✔ Coordinate and witness NDT activities (RT, UT, MT, PT)
• ✔ Ensure compliance with ASME / API / AWS codes & project specifications
• ✔ Prepare and maintain QA/QC reports, inspection records, and dossiers
• ✔ Handle NCRs and follow up on corrective actions
• ✔ Coordinate with client and third-party inspectors
