DevOps Automation Engineer

About The Role
As a DevOps Automation Engineer you will
- Work with Cloud Operations Engineers to design, operate, and improve scalable services running on  Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)  as well as  self‑hosted Kubernetes clusters  on dedicated infrastructure.
- Ensure the reliability, performance, and observability of both cloud‑native and on‑prem container platforms.
- Evolve and maintain our  Infrastructure‑as‑Code  ecosystem using  Bicep, ARM templates, and Terraform .
- Support and enhance CI/CD capabilities across Azure DevOps (pipelines, boards, Git repos).
- Collaborate with cross‑functional technical teams to expand automation and modernize operational processes.
- Act as a technical escalation point for global Operations Support teams.
- Introduce improvements across deployments, infrastructure, and monitoring with an automation‑first mindset.
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles.
- Support and maintain  PostgreSQL  instances running in cloud and containerized environments.
- Hands‑on experience running  Kubernetes in production , both in  AKS  and  self‑hosted/on‑prem clusters .
- Understanding of  Docker containers  and cloud‑native architectural patterns.
- Experience with  Infrastructure as Code  tools (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates).
- Experience managing and optimizing  PostgreSQL  in cloud or containerized environments.
- Experience with troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Security‑first, automation‑driven mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple projects while handling operational responsibilities.
- Comfortable working in fast‑growth environments.
Good to Have
- Experience with the  ELK (Elasticsearch/Logstash/Kibana) stack .
- Azure Administrator experience or certification.
- Knowledge of cloud networking and security concepts.
- Experience with CI/CD automation in  Azure DevOps .

Salary range: 30,154 – 47,500 EUR
