Director of Studios - Mid Atlantic

About The Role
Reporting to the West Coast Senior Director, the Director of Studios oversees the strategic direction and success of their studios within their region with a focus on driving revenue, contributing to profitability and developing talent. This person will act as a subject matter expert in the overall [solidcore] experience and ensure every element communicates the [solidcore] vision. They will motivate and inspire their team to create the best experience for all [solidcore] clients while being protective of, and working to spread, the [solidcore] culture.
You will be responsible for
- Managing a team of Area Managers and Head Coach Community Managers with a focus on studio performance, development, training, and recruiting.
- Provide them with coaching and guidance as needed and be a consistent resource for them, including weekly check-in’s and
- Completing [solidcore] coach training so as to gain a full understanding of the process and requirements.
- Driving day-to-day leadership and operational management for one of the fastest growing fitness brands.
- Leading cross-functional business objectives enabling [solidcore] to achieve gains in profits, market share, and customer acquisition/retention/satisfaction.
- Participating in the hiring, training, and developing of new Directors and Managers as needed.
- Developing sales growth strategies for studio memberships, class attendance and packages.
- Being accountable for strategic planning, studio operations implementation, and execution of [solidcore] studio programs and initiatives.
- Launching and reviewing reports and metrics and follow up as needed.
- Working with the Area Managers to drive overall financial performance of studios.
- Examining retention rates and trends and making adjustments for studios as needed.
- Be a role model and demand professionalism and team member compliance with [solidcore] company handbook including, but not limited to brand consistency, client relations, and attendance.
- Ensure studio experience is aligned and consistent with the company’s overall strategy including service standards.
- Visit all studios within their Region on a consistent basis.
- Collaborate with the Leadership Team on key initiatives and strategy for overall [solidcore] vision and success.
- Participation in coach training and coaching in markets as needed.
What we need from you
- Experience in a multi-unit leadership position.
- Minimum education requirement: Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
- Willingness to travel (up to 50%).
- The position is full-time and exempt with an expected 40 hours worked per week (including classes coached).
What skills and experience you'll bring to us
- Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in hands-on customer service, hospitality, consumer goods, or service based industry in a multi-unit environment.
- Prior experience in a high-growth/start-up company or firm.
- Prior experience managing a large team, ideally with remote direct reports.
- Direct P&L Management.
- Professional maturity; consistently conducts themselves in a professional manner that aligns with [solidcore]’s values.
- Proactive, with the ability to anticipate business and customers needs.
- Detail oriented and highly organized.
- Entrepreneurial and resourceful.
- Strong management experience in training, mentoring and motivating employees.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for fitness, wellness and the [solidcore] brand.
