About the Role

  • We’re hiring a Video Editor to create high-performing, engaging video content across social media, marketing, and training.
  • This is not just editing — this is storytelling + performance .

You’ll take raw footage and turn it into

  • Scroll-stopping short-form videos
  • Clean, professional long-form content
  • Conversion-driven marketing assets

What You’ll Own

Editing & Storytelling (Core Focus)

  • Edit videos using:
  • Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Final Cut Pro
  • DaVinci Resolve
  • Turn raw footage into:
  • Short-form (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)
  • Long-form (YouTube, training, explainers)
  • Optimize pacing, cuts, and structure for engagement + retention

Graphics, Motion & Visual Enhancements

  • Add:
  • Titles
  • Lower thirds
  • Motion graphics
  • Use tools like:
  • Adobe After Effects
  • Canva
  • Maintain strong brand consistency across videos

Audio & Color Quality

  • Clean and balance audio:
  • Dialogue clarity
  • Noise reduction
  • Leveling
  • Add music + SFX (licensed properly)
  • Perform color correction & grading for a consistent look

Multi-Platform Optimization

  • Export for:
  • YouTube
  • TikTok
  • Instagram
  • LinkedIn
  • Handle:
  • Different aspect ratios (9:16, 1:1, 16:9)
  • Compression, codecs, file size optimization

Collaboration & Feedback

  • Work with:
  • Marketing teams
  • Creative directors
  • Manage feedback using:
  • Frame.io
  • Iterate quickly (goal: ≤ 2 revision rounds )

Performance-Driven Editing

  • Monitor:
  • Watch time
  • Engagement
  • CTR
  • Improve edits based on what actually performs

Required Experience & Skills

  • 2+ years of professional video editing experience
  • Strong proficiency in:
  • Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro / DaVinci Resolve
  • Experience with:
  • Audio syncing & cleanup
  • Color correction
  • Social media exports
  • Ability to meet deadlines consistently

Nice to Have (High-Quality Candidates)
