About The Role
Responsabilities: Primary Responsibilities: • Preparing legal documents that are sent to insurance companies and opposing counsel. • Providing customer service on the phone, in person, via email, and through other means. • Returning phone calls and voicemails in a 24 hour turn around period. • Returning emails in a timely manner. • Scanning, uploading, and adding mail to our Case Management Database. • Maintaining files in a neat and organized manner. • Preparing demand packages for submission to insurance companies and/or opposing counsel. • Printing medical bills, records, and other documents for attorneys. • Maintaining confidentiality of all documents. • Meeting with clients in the office. • Disbursing settlement checks to clients. • Providing support to attorneys, the office manager, and other office personnel. • Filling in for the Receptionist, Mail Clerks, and other office positions upon their absence. • Adding faxes to our Case Management system and emailing them out to office staff / attorneys. • Completing daily and weekly tasks.
