Corporate & Business Counsel

The Legal Counsel is central to the cross-functional operations of the company. The person provides legal support on corporate legal, tax, finance, treasury, risk management, litigation and intellectual property related matters and colleagues globally. The Legal Counsel is responsible for corporate legal support on various legal entities around the globe, with emphasis on US. He/she organizes meetings of Nokia of America Corporation, prepares briefing materials collaboratively with Nokia stakeholders and drafts legal documents such as meeting minutes, PoAs and officers certificates.

Other responsibilities

• Manage all legal entities’ filings in all states where these entities are qualified to do business.
• Manage all delegations of authority in the US; identify appropriate signatories and approval processes in line with established guidelines.
• Support federal filings as may be required
• Support large, varied corporate and strategic transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, div
