Diagnostic Radiologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diagnostic Radiologist to join our team at the VA Medical Center in Providence, RI. As a Diagnostic Radiologist, you will be responsible for interpreting and diagnosing medical images to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and analyze medical images including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to referring physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Collaborate with other radiologists and medical staff to provide accurate and timely diagnoses.
• Utilize advanced imaging techniques to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of complex cases.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all procedures and patient information.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and developments in the field of diagnostic radiology. Requirements:
• Board Certification from the American Board of Radiology.
• Current license to practice medicine in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia.
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications.
• DEA registration.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in diagnostic radiology.
• Proficiency in advanced imaging techniques such as MRI, CT, and ultrasound.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
