About The Role

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Board-certified radiologists to join our team at the VA Medical Center in Columbia, SC. As a Board Certified Radiologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality radiology services to the beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging procedures, including but not limited to abdominal/GU, breast imaging, cardiovascular, general, interventional, musculoskeletal, and neuroradiology.
  • Provide timely and accurate radiology reports to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of patient care.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to infection control and safety policies.
  • Adhere to all VA regulations and guidelines in the performance of radiology services.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities and continuing education to stay current with advancements in the field of radiology.

Requirements

  • Active license to practice as a Radiologist.
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
  • Board Certification in Radiology.
  • Experience in abdominal/GU, breast imaging, cardiovascular, general, interventional, musculoskeletal, and neuroradiology.
  • Knowledge of VA regulations and guidelines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
