JOB SUMMARY We are seeking a dedicated IT Systems Support Administrator is responsible for delivering reliable technical support while ensuring the stability, availability, and security of the organization's IT infrastructure. This role provides first- and second-level technical support for end-users, administers IT systems and network infrastructure, maintains hardware and software assets, and assists in implementing technology initiatives that improve operational efficiency. The role requires close collaboration with internal departments, vendors, and clients to ensure that IT services are delivered efficiently and in accordance with organizational standards, security policies, and service level expectations. WHAT YOU'LL DO •End-User Support •Provide first or L1 up to and second-level L2 (if necessary) technical support for hardware, software, networking, printers, peripherals, and business applications. •Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, laptop, operating system, Microsoft 365, email, VPN, and remote access issues. •Respond to incidents and service requests within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs). •Systems Administration •Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems and enterprise applications. •Perform user account provisioning, modification, and deprovisioning across organizational systems. •Assist in maintaining Microsoft 365 services, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), Group Policies, and endpoint management platforms. •Network Administration •Assist in managing and maintaining LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and internet connectivity. •Configure and troubleshoot switches, wireless access points, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, and network security settings. •Assist in the administration and maintenance of Ubiquiti UniFi networking solutions. •Infrastructure & Asset Management •Deploy, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals. •Maintain accurate inventory records of IT hardware, software licenses, and assigned assets. •Perform preventive maintenance on IT equipment. •IT Documentation •Maintain accurate technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and Standard Work Instructions. •Document troubleshooting steps, system configurations, and infrastructure changes. •Update knowledge base articles for recurring technical issues. •Continuous Improvement •Identify opportunities to improve IT processes and automation. •Participate in IT projects, infrastructure upgrades, and technology deployments. •Participate in after-hours maintenance or emergency support when required. REQUIREMENTS •Bachelor's degree in relation to Information Technology, Computer Technology, Computer Science, or any related field (or equivalent experience). •Proven experience, with a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience within IT support, focusing on helpdesk support, hardware and software management, and IT Systems administration. •Intermediate-level troubleshooting skills in Microsoft Windows 10/11 operating systems, including hardware, software, and peripheral device support. •Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 services, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and basic administration of Exchange Online and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory), is an advantage. •Intermediate understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPN, routing, switching, wireless networking, and network troubleshooting best practices. •Emerging to intermediate knowledge of Ubiquiti UniFi networking solutions, including wireless access points, switches, gateways/firewalls, and the UniFi Controller platform. •Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. •Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, providing excellent customer service to end-users and other stakeholders. •Relevant certifications, such as CCNA, Microsoft Administration, CompTIA, or other industry-recognized certifications, are highly desirable. •Any other industry-recognized certifications related to systems administration, networking, cloud technologies, or cybersecurity are considered an advantage.
