About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic

Industrial Trainee (Cost Accountant)

• to support our cost accounting and finance functions. This role is ideal for candidates pursuing
• ICMAI (CMA) qualification
• and looking to gain hands-on experience in
• product costing, variance analysis, inventory control

, and

• MIS reporting
• in a dynamic industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in

standard costing

and

• actual vs. standard variance analysis
• Support preparation of
• monthly cost sheets
• for products and processes

Perform

raw material and WIP consumption analysis

Analyze

manufacturing overheads

and

departmental cost allocation

Assist with

• cost audits
• and maintain cost accounting records per statutory norms

Contribute to

inventory valuation

,

stock audits

, and

• cycle counts
• Help prepare
• profitability analysis
• by product, plant, or cost center
• Prepare and present
• MIS reports
• , dashboards, and trend analysis for review

Coordinate with

• production, stores, and procurement
• departments for data collection

Work on

SAP / ERP

data extraction and cost center reporting (if applicable)

Eligibility Criteria

Pursuing

• ICMAI – Cost and Management Accountant
• (Passed Intermediate/Final and eligible for Industrial Training)

Available for a

• 15-month full-time assignment
• Basic knowledge of

Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)

and

ICMAI guidelines

Familiarity with

Excel, PowerPoint

• , and preferably
• ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Tally)

Skills & Attributes

• Strong analytical and numerical ability
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a plant/industrial environment
