About The Role
We are seeking a Human Factors Specialist to lead and support human-centered design and certification activities for advanced aircraft systems. This role focuses on ensuring safe, intuitive, and compliant cockpit and system interfaces through rigorous human factors engineering, cross-functional collaboration, and regulatory engagement. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in cockpit design, usability validation, and certification for next-generation aircraft, including highly automated and eVTOL platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Define, manage, and maintain Human Factors (HF) requirements at both system and aircraft levels, including SLRs and SSLRs.
Define, assess, and validate cockpit HMIs, including
- Display formats (PFD, MFD, synoptic pages)
- Alerting and annunciation philosophy (CAS, aural and visual alerts)
- Control interfaces (e.g., touchscreens, knobs, switches)
- Support design validation activities through simulations, mockups, and usability testing.
- Lead and coordinate Human Factors activities with certification authorities.
Develop and maintain HF-related certification artifacts, including
Human Factors Compliance Reports
- HF inputs to safety assessments (FHA, SSA)
- Collaborate closely with avionics, flight test, certification, and software teams to ensure effective HF integration across the program.
Essential Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in cockpit HMI design, including displays, alerting, and control interfaces
- Demonstrated experience conducting Human Factors analyses (e.g., HTA, CTA, workload analysis) and simulator-based validation
- Working knowledge of aircraft certification programs, such as Part 23, 25, 27, or 29 (or equivalent)
Desirable Skills
- Experience supporting certification activities with aviation authorities (FAA, EASA, JCAB)
- Experience contributing HF inputs to FHA, PSSA, SSA, or system safety assessments
- Experience conducting simulator-based evaluations, pilot-in-the-loop testing, or flight test support

Place of Employment
- Nagoya Airport Office: Nagoya Airport Terminal Building 2nd floor, Toyoba, Toyoyama-Cho, Nishikasugai, Aichi Prefecture
- Scope of Change: Places determined by the Company (including places where telework is performed)
Working Hours
- Flextime or Discretionary labor system
- Basic working hours: Start 9:00 End 18:00(Including 1hour break time)
Holidays
- 115 days off per year(Saturday / Sundays / Newyear holidays(12/29~1/3) / Company designated holidays)
- Annual paid leave

Salary
- Annual salary paid in 12 monthly installments (including fixed overtime allowance)
- To be determined based on skills, experience, and abilities
