JSOC Asset Management Analyst - Onsite Cebu

An IT Asset Management Analyst is responsible for managing and optimizing the lifecycle of IT assets within an organization, ensuring compliance, cost-efficiency, and proper utilization. This role also involves providing limited IT support to end-users. Responsibilities: Monitor and maintain records of IT assets, ensuring they are properly tagged, tracked, and accounted for. Oversee the entire lifecycle of IT assets, from procurement to disposal, ensuring they meet industry standards and organizational needs. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with software licenses and legal regulations, and prevent risks associated with unauthorized or non-compliant assets. Analyze asset usage to identify cost-saving opportunities, reduce unnecessary purchases, and prevent over-licensing. Create detailed reports on asset status, expenses, and compliance, and maintain accurate documentation for teams and auditors. Provide basic technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and assisting with installations and upgrades. Manage and oversee identity and access management processes, ensuring users have appropriate access to IT resources while maintaining security and compliance. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as ITIL, CompTIA A+, or Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM) are advantageous. Proven experience in IT asset management or a related field, with a track record of managing IT assets and providing technical support. Strong knowledge of IT asset management tools, software licensing, and basic IT support skills. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work well under pressure. Ability to maintain the efficiency and compliance of organizational IT assets while providing effective technical support.
