Plant Engineer - Civil

Role: Plant Engineer - Civil Location: Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Maharashtra Reporting to: Manager - Plant Engineering - Civil Team Name: Manufacturing Operations About the Team and the Role: The Manufacturing Operations team at Ather is responsible for overseeing the development and execution of civil infrastructure projects to support our expanding manufacturing footprint. This role is for a Plant Engineer - Civil who will manage day-to-day site execution, ensuring that all construction work at the Greenfield project site meets high-quality standards and project timelines. Responsibilities Supervise and monitor day-to-day civil activities at the Greenfield project site to ensure quality and timeline adherence. Coordinate with internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure project alignment. Review and interpret drawings, BOQs, technical specifications, and construction plans for accurate implementation. Monitor progress, track milestones, and report any deviations or delays to the project manager. Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations, environmental guidelines, and statutory requirements. Maintain comprehensive site documentation, including progress reports, material consumption, and quality checklists. Support resource planning, construction scheduling, and billing verification for contractor reconciliation. Participate in project meetings and provide technical inputs to support engineering decisions. Experience and Qualifications B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering or a related field 5 to 12 years of experience in Structural / Civil Design & Project Management Must Have Competencies Civil construction site execution for Greenfield or industrial projects Knowledge of construction practices, materials, codes, and standards Structural and Civil Design project management Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulation compliance in construction Good to Have Competencies Technical drawing review and interpretation using AutoCAD and Workspace Project lifecycle scheduling using MS Project or Primavera tools Construction material quantity estimation and contractor billing reconciliation Resource planning and construction schedule management Want to know more?
