Your Responsibilities
Materials Planning & Supply Chain Execution (30%)
- Own and drive assigned seasonal raw material planning activities by maintaining the material readiness tracker, advancing issue resolution through timely recommendations, identifying and escalating missing data or supplier risks, and delivering analysis and actions by seasonal calendar deadlines.
- Own execution of assigned seasonal workstreams with Apparel Product, Development, Sourcing, Supply Planning, and regional sourcing teams by advancing material decisions, resolving open items, aligning stakeholders on next steps, and driving assigned actions to completion by agreed-upon deadlines.
- Analyze material demand, inventory, capacity, lead-time, and supplier-status data for assigned categories and provide written recommendations that identify the issue, business impact, proposed action, owner, and requested decision or escalation.
- Maintain regular communication with assigned fabric mills, trim vendors, and Tier II suppliers as required by the seasonal calendar; confirm delivery, capacity, lead-time, and quality-impacting issues; document supplier commitments; and identify potential risks and provide recommendations on resolutions; escalate unresolved risks to your manager and relevant cross-functional owners.
- Evaluate supplier capabilities, lead times, and risk exposure using available data, supplier inputs, and Brooks planning requirements to inform sourcing decisions and business continuity planning.
- Identify process bottlenecks in assigned workflows and recommend practical changes that state the current issue, options considered, risks and benefits of each option, proposed process change, expected benefit, implementation owner, and timing.
- Provide insights and recommendations on material reservation and allocation strategies by maintaining accurate allocation data, identifying excess or shortage risks, and documenting recommendations to optimize inventory utilization and reduce liability exposure.
Inventory Analysis & Operational Excellence (35%)
- Create and update assigned inventory and liability reports for seasonal and carryover materials, including open liability, usage, aging, reservation, allocation, and excess-risk data, and refresh reports on the cadence set by the manager or seasonal calendar.
- Analyze material consumption trends, supplier performance, and production risks to provide actionable written recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders.
- Create assigned analytical tools, dashboards, and reporting frameworks, ensuring clarity and consistency across data sources, formulas, assumptions, refresh cadence, and version control, while proactively resolving data and formula issues within established timelines.
- Review assigned reports to identify anomalies, inventory risks, and process gaps; document the issue and its root cause or likely cause, outline the recommended corrective action, owner, and due date; and track agreed actions through closure or escalation.
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives focused on materials planning, supplier management, inventory optimization, and operational workflows by completing assigned deliverables, documenting process changes, and reporting implementation status.
- Drive process standardization and documentation by maintaining and continuously updating work instructions, reporting definitions, and process documentation.
Supplier Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration (20%)
- Partner with regional sourcing offices and suppliers to resolve material, delivery, and quality issues impacting production timelines by defining the issue, required action, owner, and target resolution date, and driving follow-through to closure or timely escalation.
- Influence supplier performance through proactive communication, KPI tracking, issue resolution, and operational follow-through, including documented supplier commitments and escalation of unresolved issues.
- Partner with Product, Development, Quality, Planning, Compliance, and Sourcing teams to advance assigned work by providing accurate material-status information, aligning on priorities and next steps, raising risks with supporting facts, and driving timely follow-through on assigned actions and agreed timelines.
- Communicate material risks, liabilities, and supply chain impacts in writing or meetings using a clear issue summary, affected style/material/supplier, business impact, recommended action, decision needed, and timing.
- Lead cross-functional resolution of material readiness, inventory exposure, and supply continuity challenges by defining the issue, aligning required stakeholders on actions and decisions, and driving agreed next steps to closure or timely escalation.
Reporting, Analytics & Systems (15%)
- Own the creation and evolution of assigned reporting tools and analytical models supporting materials planning and operational visibility, including documented data sources, formulas, assumptions, and update cadence.
- Analyze data across multiple systems and supplier inputs to identify trends, operational gaps, and opportunities for improved execution.
- Generate quarterly liability reporting, end-of-season reserve analysis, and supplier performance insights according to agreed reporting deadlines.
- Play a key role in operational excellence initiatives through automation, reporting improvements, and improved data visibility, including testing outputs and documenting changes before regular use.
- Partner with Supply Planning and Compliance teams to drive accurate planning data, reporting requirements, and supply chain transparency initiatives by owning assigned deliverables, resolving data gaps, and providing timely, complete, and supportable information.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Textile Engineering, Business, Operations, or related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of experience in apparel materials planning, sourcing operations, supply chain management, demand planning, inventory management, or related field.
- Strong understanding of apparel materials, textile manufacturing, garment production, and global supply chain operations.
- Experience working with global fabric mills, trim suppliers, Tier I/Tier II suppliers, and cross-functional product creation teams.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, and reporting.
- Experience with FlexPLM, ERP systems, MRP/planning systems, and supply chain reporting tools.
- Demonstrated ability to manage incomplete or changing information by identifying assumptions, confirming missing inputs, proposing a practical path forward, and escalating decisions that require manager or cross-functional approval.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data across multiple systems, document assumptions, identify risks, and communicate insights effectively.
- Proven ability to lead projects, influence cross-functional partners, and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate material status, risk, business impact, recommended action, and timing to internal and external partners.
- Demonstration of innovation and initiative with a continuous improvement mindset and bias toward action.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to execute against multiple deadlines and changing priorities.
- Ability to anticipate downstream impacts by identifying affected materials, styles, suppliers, delivery dates, costs, inventory exposure, and cross-functional owners before recommending or implementing material planning decisions.
- Demonstrate ownership by completing assigned work by agreed deadlines, maintaining accurate work product, identifying errors or blockers promptly, proposing corrective action, and escalating when work cannot be completed on time or as assigned.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of working time for supplier, regional sourcing, and Brooks business needs, subject to manager approval, applicable Brooks travel policy, and applicable Taiwan labor law requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting apparel sourcing, production operational excellence, or global materials strategy initiatives.
- Knowledge of yarn, greige, dyeing, and finishing processes within textile manufacturing.
- Experience with inventory optimization, liability management, and supplier performance measurement.
- Familiarity with sustainable materials, circularity initiatives, and responsible sourcing practices.
- Understanding of global trade compliance, textile regulations, and duty management.
