About the role

MSS Security is seeking a Project Security Officer who holds a current Negative Vetting 1 Clearance to join our team at a high-profile data centre in Melbourne.

Duties include but are not limited to

• Ensure all visitors and contractors remain within authorised areas and maintain line of sight.
• Verify and confirm visitor identification prior to granting access to secure areas and maintain visitor logs.
• Challenge and report any unauthorised persons, suspicious behaviour or security breaches in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor compliance with security policies and standards.
• Coordinate security audits and maintain compliance registers and audit evidence.
• Conduct online meetings with the National Account Manager, the customer and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Must be an Australian Citizen and hold an NV1 Clearance .
• Valid Victorian Security Licence.
• Valid Victorian Drivers Licence.
• White Card (or willing to obtain).
• Valid First Aid & CPR Certificates (or willing to obtain).
• Availability to work Monday to Saturday.
• Prior experience working on data centre projects, with a strong understanding of data centre security.
